A Note to the Reader:

Author's Writings Those of you who have taken the time to read my stories must please note that they are purely works of fiction based roughly upon historical characters and events, they are not accurately dated as of yet. The main ideas of my stories have been derived from stories I have read and heard, classical music (Including some soundtracks), and my very own ‘imaginative’ imagination. Please also note that any disambiguations in the story will be eventually cleared, thus giving the absent minded reader a better understanding of my intentions as an author.

An important thing which I would like to make mention of, is that most of my writings are separate compositions which have yet to be tied in with a main storyline. I haven’t written in over two months, and am posting my stories with the hopes of reviving my old writing spirit. Though I have put down the pen for a length of time, I have continued to collect little parcels of ideas, and am slowly piecing them together in a final plot-line. I’m tying in my story with a script I wrote for a home movie (Which has yet to be made,) about a knight called ‘Macar.’ I compiled the name from an Old English and Elvish Dictionary of one of Tolkien’s Languages from the Lord of the Rings Trilogy. The word is Quenya for “Swordsman,” I chose the name, having the heart of a fan. lol. I’ve dropped the name for the more timely and accurate name of “Baldwin.” The story currently revolves around his venture to Europe from the Holy Land, where he is vassal to a ‘Lord Xavier.’ Yes, he has the same name as me, but this is a temporary usage of the name. In Europe, Baldwin travels with Lord Xavier for Crusader recruitment purposes, but recieves permission to travel to his nearby home to visit his family. It is from this point on that the story picks up it’s pace. Baldwin meets is reunited with his brother who has changed since he left for the Crusade, and struggles with trying to bring him to the light. After being reunited with his brother, they two travel back to Genoa where they rejoin Lord Xavier and several other knights. Their recruitment mission didn’t go as planned, so they chart course back to the Crusader Kingdom of Jerusalem. After this point I’m currently piecing together odds and ends to make the story flow well, but I am definite of the epic battle at the end of the story, with the Siege of Jerusalem by Saladin and the Muslim forces. I’ll have more posted about the story within the next week or so. I am currently working on a ‘Prelude’ chapter for the beginning of the story, so hopefully all will go well with that.
