El Cid – The Film

I’d figured it was time for another classic fight scene set in the Middle-Ages, so here goes!

Over the weekend my family and I ended up watching another Epic Classic Film starring Charleton Heston: “El Cid.” The Film is historically inaccurate in certain aspects, but unlike the 2005 Film “Kingdom of Heaven,” it doesn’t go out of it’s way to portray the Church as a corrupt entity.  But rather gives a plain and simple representation of Her.  (Which is quite to my surprise, since after all, it is a Hollywood Film.)
