FrIggyThe Homily will speak for itself:

~Below Text Taken from AirMaria~

Play – In this hard hitting homily, Fr. Ignatius brings up the issue of dissent from the teaching of the Church, often called Liberal Catholicism, that accepts many of the dubious elements of our modern relativism and the “Culture of Death,” abortion, contraception as well as not going to Church. Using solid statistical data and logic, Fr. points out that this dissent is so in line with Satan, that the dissenters become, wittingly or unwittingly, “Anonymous Satanists.” Further, Fr. points out that letting those who publicly dissent (pro-abort Catholic politicians) to receive communion should not be an issue since they are automatically excommunicated, and so they should not even be allowed in Church, much less receive.

  1. Frankly I’ve always had an issue with the labels Liberal/Conservative. There political terms not theological ones. There’s only three positions or options if you will, orthodox, heretical, or permitted. The first is doctrine and/or dogma and doesn’t change with the cultural or era; the second rejects the first, and the third may have some guidance but theirs freedom to chose the course of action.

With Liberal there is an attempt to “gray” issues already determined to be settled. Or better put it’s an attempt to re-open was is already settled.

I don’t think we should prohibit politiciams who support pro-abortion measures, but clearly the priest should prohibit them from receiving the Eucharist. But if they aren’t allow in church how will they ever be lead to repentance?

I would like to cut down your ‘3′ positions to two. Either you are in Union with the Mystical Body of Christ, or separated. The heretics have chosen their own beliefs/opinions over the Church’s, and must be cut off. On the issue of Pro-Choice Catholics, they should be refused Holy Communion. On the issue of Excommunication, Fr. clearly means to say that they CANNOT attend Sunday Mass, the Sacraments, and etc, BECAUSE they are cut off from the Mystical Body of Christ. They are always welcomed to change their views and to repent, and if they do so, they SHALL be reconciled with Holy Mother Church. The Church does not have time for lip service.
