Lord of the Rings Marathon – April 26th & 27th
April 1, 2008
It’s here….It’s come… Our Precious…. *cough*
The 3rd Annual Lord of the Rings Marathon at Cinemaworld in Lincoln, Rhode Island! It’s set for the 26th and 27th of April. The marathon starts at 12:00 Noon, and goes on till about 10:00 Pm, with two breaks between the films. A half our break after the The Fellowship of the Ring, and an hour break (for those who wish to find dinner somewhere) after The Two Towers. Tickets cost $12.50 for the entire day, which is pretty cheap, averaging $4.00 a film.
Here is the address for those of you who are thinking of attending. You can probably run it through MapQuest or something:
Cinemaworld Lincoln Mall 16
622 George Washington Highway,
Lincoln, RI 02865
Movie Line: (401) 333-8676
Customer Service (401) 333-8019
E-mail: feedback@cinemaworldonline.com
I plan on attending it, but I have to run it through my parents with a schedule. The following day is Cenacle Sunday though, so it may cause a problem… But I’m willing to brave it! Who is with me on this journey to Mt. Doom?!
A Little Fun from a While Back. I did my Smeagol Impersonation and Mixed it with the Davy Jones Theme from Pirates.

Xavierssss! We hates him! We hates him forever!
*sigh* OK, no I don’t. I am just wracked by envy and jealousy. *sighs again* OK, so I am not. I am lamenting the fact that I live to far away from Isle of Rhode. Hmm… how does one set up something like that?
April 1, 2008 at 6:54 PM
*laughs* There is nothing to be jealous of. It isn’t even the Extended Edition. *pouts*
Ha, its long enough with just the Theatrical Editions. How do you set up what?…

Ok, I’m going to email you guys so we can start formulating a plan of action. Since Marc will be arriving back on Saturday, maybe we can look towards Sunday, but I’m not sure yet.
April 2, 2008 at 12:33 PM

“Why do they hates poor Smeagol?
Oh Why do they hates poor Smeagol?
Why do they hate us? Curse, and Despise us?
Why, oh Why? My Precious!!!
Well, this theater opened a year or so ago. Its a very well taken care of place, and they take suggestions from the movie goers on running specials. We saw Sound of Music last year there, and the last Marathon as well.
April 2, 2008 at 5:22 PM
do they have a Star Wars Marathon?
April 3, 2008 at 9:50 AM
You are allowed before the movie, while the staff are there, to shout out suggestions. (at least last year.) Though I would be careful about shouting Star Wars…Ringers, Ringers, Everywhere.
I shouted “The Sound of Music…” and got hit on the head soon after by a candy ‘Dot’ my friend tossed at me.
April 3, 2008 at 12:05 PM
Aw, poor Paul. But it would seem as if they listened to your suggestion.
LOL, maybe this year you should shout out Pride and Prejudice… the A&E version.
(For those of you who don’t know, it is 6 hours long!)
April 3, 2008 at 12:14 PM
300 Minutes Long. Divided by 6 Cassettes is 5 hours… Ha!
Oh… I will shout it…I will…
MUAHAHHAHA!
April 3, 2008 at 12:50 PM
Oh. Well I thought 6 tapes 6 hours. We saw it on DVD, actually.
Let me know if you shout it out!
April 3, 2008 at 6:04 PM

April 3, 2008 at 6:18 PM

April 3, 2008 at 6:30 PM

April 20, 2008 at 8:37 PM
Yes! Saturday! Our Precious!!!
April 26, 2008 at 8:32 PM
*shakes head wearily* Paul, this is a month after you posted your “lyrics’ and my sister is still singing them! She just fineshed a ‘competition’ (all contestants played by herself, of course) in which each contestant sings the ’song’. Of course, no two were the same. Some of them were just.. well, orginal Tere.. sorry, Yaviel creations! (I’m not allowed to use her name on the web.) She is nuts. *winces* Now she is doing an opera version! No resemblance to the orginal, at all! This is nuts! *shouts* SOMEONE SAVE ME! Apparently, *sighs* the compitition is not over. And… now I can not hear that theme without thinking of that Smeagol voice! Agh! Done ranting. Bye.
April 27, 2008 at 9:18 PM
I haven’t had a fan since nigh two years ago at the Talent Show! lol Tell her to be careful… Sometimes it gets too fun doing it! lol I used to drive my brother crazy with it. Simply offer it up!
April 28, 2008 at 1:04 PM
LOL, now she’s got me to where whenever I hear the Davy Jones theme, I start singing that song!
Tolkien would be horrifed, no doubt.
April 28, 2008 at 1:17 PM
Of course he would. lol Oooh…Poor Amanda. *sniff* Shesss becoming like uss…..
