~The March for Life~

January 10, 2009

The March is almost here, hooray! We can stand up publicly for what we believe in, what a privilege! I’ve been thinking, do people really know the importance of this March? I’ve been talking to some people, and it seems that to them this is just a time to get out of the house, not do school, and get together with friends. Is that really what we should be thinking? I have to admit that a year ago that was the one of the reasons I wanted to go; but now, I don’t want to go for those reasons I want to go to try to stop abortion, to help make a difference in the world, to help people understand the seriousness of abortion. If everyone was an abortionist then our world would perish. Is that what people want? I have heard a person say, “It takes all kind of people to make a world.” Well, that person is right, but does it really take abortionists, people who murder infants, to make a world? No, it does not.

We can live without evil easily, but that’s not how it’s going to be. Since God gave everyone freewill, we can choose to do good or evil. Sadly there are people who chose to do wrong; we cannot forcibly make them do or think otherwise. With prayer, acts of good, and standing up physically for what we believe in, now that can make a difference. It may not be through the person’s own fault that they do wrong. If they grew up with parents who believed that abortion is right, then it would not be through their own fault that they think its right. But if someone tells them that it’s wrong, then that’s different. If they’ve been told that it’s wrong by the church or by anybody, then it’s now their choice to choose to do right or wrong. After you’ve told them the only thing you can do is pray.

When reading this, some of you may say, “How can she say abortion is murder?” Well…think about it. Is there really such a huge difference between aborting a baby in the womb and killing a man or woman with poison? No, not really, it’s actually very close to the same thing. I may have said this in a previous post, I can’t remember, but a human being is a human being, and no matter how small that human is. He or she still has a soul and a role to play in this world, a life to live, the same as you and me. So if you’re going on the March for Life, remember the real reason why we have this March, and the reason why your support and participation are important. Lets go out and show the world that there are people who care about what happens to the innocent. I strongly urge all those that are physically able to go, yet are not planning on going, to go and stand up for what they believe in. You may think that one more person won’t make a difference. Well, you’re wrong, it will. If every person that went on this March thought like that there wouldn’t even be a March! So, come and help make a difference. Also, for all those who cannot go, I encourage you to join your prayers with those on the March; you will make a huge difference.

May Our Lady Protect All Those That Are Going On This March!!!

All For The Immaculate!!!

Ave Maria!!!
